DLA Piper is the only law firm represented in all Nordic countries and our clients include leading companies, public sector organisations and other enterprises in Denmark and abroad. Through recent mergers and integrations, DLA Piper has become the largest law firm in the Nordic region. As we have grown, career opportunities within our Nordic business have gone from strength to strength.
Innovation at our core
Innovation is an essential component of our strategy. Our success in these areas was recognised by the Financial Times in 2021 through the FT Innovative Lawyers Europe Awards. We were named Most Innovative Law Firm, Simon Levine, the former Global Co-CEO, was named Most Innovative Leader, and we also won the award for Most Innovative Law Firm Transformation for our Law& brand.
Action against Climate Change
In 2021 we launched our eMission 2030 campaign, focused on ensuring our people are kept up-to-date with our actions to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions. Our target is to halve our emissions by 2030, compared to 2019/20 pre-pandemic levels.
As part of this commitment, we also established a network of eMission 2030 Champions. These champions provide local support for our environmental and climate change efforts, and inspire action in their local offices, including our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen.
