Human Resources: Our experience
What we’re proud of
Dynamic opportunities
Through an enormous variety of roles, our team members get to enjoy exciting and challenging work. You could be working as a business partner, or developing new products, policies, services and campaigns, or recruiting the exceptional people who will drive our firm forward or delivering high-quality HR services in over 40 countries.
But no matter what your role is, or what your responsibilities are, we work as one collaborative team. We stay connected across our network and strive to be trusted advisors in everything we do.
Commercial and collaborative
We play a strategic role in helping leaders to shape the organisation and achieve its ambition, to drive business performance, and to make our firm a great place to work. We partner with leaders, managers and colleagues to advise and deliver our people plan. We are a business-savvy function that is easy to do business with.
We have invested in the latest people technologies to generate insights and the evidence to support our advice and decision-making. For example, performance, talent and financial data is used to drive appointments and promotions.
Shaping our culture
A vital part of our HR plan – and our daily work – is shaping our culture and environment so our people can thrive and be their best. This includes leading on the delivery of our approaches to learning and development, flexible working, diversity and inclusion, and health and wellbeing.
Aligned to our values, these international approaches take us towards our aim of being an inclusive, global law firm and reinforce our commitment to investing in and supporting efforts to improve opportunity and the health and wellbeing of our people.

Gina Van Der Pauw, Interim Head of HR, London
It’s completely different to anywhere I’ve worked before. My experience is with large corporate organisations as opposed to partnerships, so this is extremely interesting.
