Technology: Our experience

What we’ve achieved

Making our business better

We seek real challenges to create real opportunities. We drive technological innovation to enable successful business growth.

Our IT strategy is based on four fundamental principles: Information Security, Performance, Modernisation and Digitalisation. Our comprehensive plan ensures we have a strategic way of working, with our IT operating model reflecting modern delivery of our people and client needs.

We’re there when it matters

Our international network of business partners, regional managers, legal technology specialists and IT learning consultants provides local engagement by supporting our IT colleagues around the world.

We run an international "always on" operations team with a strong footprint in the UK, Australia and Poland. This way of working allows us to provide continual support to DLA Piper colleagues when and where it is needed the most. To compliment this, we have a number of local IT support colleagues present in our offices directly supporting our lawyers.

A trusted team that goes beyond

We're a 450+ global workforce of Business Services professionals responsible for the security, network efficiency and performance of over 14,000 user devices. We manage over 500 applications used by colleagues worldwide, and the installation and implementation of new technologies and training for over 7,500 colleagues. We’re trusted to keep technology safe, always on and digitally evolving.
