Our Global Service Centre provides high-quality, centralised services across four streams: IT, Finance, HR and Marketing. Streams are divided into teams, each focusing on specific areas of service delivery.  But we are not just a service centre; our teams play a key role in developing how the business works. Our team members use their skill and knowledge to improve processes and make the business more efficient, and that efficiency can then be passed on to our clients. We help make our business better.

What we’ve achieved

Building a global future

Our Global Service Centre started its story in Warsaw in 2015. Our aim was to provide business support to the firm’s international offices. Starting out with a group of around 20 people, the team now has a team of over 250 business services professionals supporting our offices in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

We offer an international workplace; we have team members of more than ten nationalities who deliver the service to more than 30 countries. It is an inclusive and open environment where team members can gain experience and build a career, both in the Global Service Centre and in the wider firm.

Exceptional results through collaborative services in Marketing and IT

Our IT Service team are an integral part of our global IT organisation. Our team deliver cutting-edge technologies that empower our firm and clients alike. From troubleshooting to implementing innovative solutions, our dedicated team provide a wide range of services operating around the clock. 

Our Marketing and Business Development department operates through four distinct teams: Digital Communication, Pitch, Data and Directories, and Business Development. We deliver top tier support for international processes relating to all marketing and business development activity. 

Driving operational excellence in Finance and HR

Our Finance team within the Global Service Centre serves as the central hub for financial operations, streamlining processes and ensuring consistency across all our international regions. Our team of over 120 financial specialists, support various finance and accounting processes for majority of DLA Piper offices globally.

Our HR Shared Service Team supports the key moments for our new joiners and our people. Underpinned by best-in-class technology, we are specialists in delivering international services across Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Lifecycle and Learning and Development. Supported by our talented subject matter experts and HR Service Desk we ensure memorable experiences for our people, who are at the core of everything we do.
