The Knowledge team are a group of experienced IPT lawyers is responsible for the development and management of legal content and training, for our clients and our lawyers.

The successful role holder will be responsible for assisting the Head of Knowledge and the Knowledge team to support the IPT practice in all aspects of Knowledge development including horizon scanning/trend spotting, the production of client content, tools, and products, organising, legal training sessions and participating in various innovative IPT, business development and sector driven projects in line with the IPT group’s strategy.  

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate will have experience in working effectively with people at all levels.

You will enjoy a broad diet of work with an international focus including, but not limited to: 

  • Assisting our Head of Knowledge and Knowledge Development Lawyers with monitoring of legal developments and horizon scanning including in new and developing technical areas such as the metaverse and AI
  • Assistance with the production of content for clients including newsletters
  • Assistance with the development of new IPT tools for clients
  • Assistance with basic research and day to day fee earner enquiries
  • Assisting the Head of Knowledge to support the MSE, Life Sciences and Tech sectors; and
  • Assisting the Knowledge and MBD teams with content for and organisation of contributions to thought leadership articles and campaigns
  • Taking responsibility for organising, recording and ensuring the smooth running of training sessions
  • Collection, redaction, and profiling of documents for the Knowledge Hub and resource management 

ABOUT YOU

  • Law or non-law degree
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Be flexible and have a problem solving approach
