What you will do

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people from a diverse range of backgrounds who have the potential to thrive at our firm.

Are you eligible?

You’ll need to be a strong English and French speaker, reader and writer. Also: 

You’ll be a Master of law student at University or a French Bar trainee.

You’ll have a consistently strong academic record.

You'll have an internship agreement from your school or university.

You’ll have the right to work in Luxembourg for the duration of the programme (6 months from January to June or July to December). We are unable to sponsor visas for the internship.

What to expect

  • Application form

    Our application form will capture some key information about yourself and we'll also ask you to submit answers to our application questions regarding your achievements. We will also ask you to submit a CV in English. We don’t require you to submit a cover letter as part of your application.

  • Online assessment

    The Watson Glaser online assessment is untimed and to be completed at your own pace. However, you must complete your assessment within five working days of receiving the link. There are various practice Watson Glaser assessments available online and we would recommend spending some time practising these to familiarise yourself with the types of questions you may be asked. You will also be sent a link from us with a further practice assessment you can take before undertaking the final assessment.

  • Interview

    The interview will be with a Counsel and/or Senior Lawyer who will assess your motivations for and alignment to the role you’ve applied for. The interview is also your chance to demonstrate your strengths and help us get to know you better.

No. This internship role is for a fixed term and is not a bar traineeship role.

No, you don't need prior work experience, however previous internship experience is helpful. You will be fully involved within the team and practice group you join.

Yes, however you'll be required to have a school or university internship agreement.

No, our six-month internships start in January and July. We don't currently offer shorter internships. 

At the end of your internship, you will have the opportunity to be assessed, based on your performance and our availability, for a position as an Associate or Legal Advisor with us.
