When I interviewed at DLA Piper, I was told it was a ‘blue sky’ firm where anything was possible – those who succeed at the firm definitely have this entrepreneurial approach and are constantly looking for new ways of working and of engaging with clients.

It is also a firm that really promotes and lives its values – again, those who succeed in my view are those who are role-modelling the values and recognise that being a good lawyer is no longer about just doing the work, but about how you do it and how you engage with colleagues, clients and counterparts.
