You will be part of one of the largest global restructuring practices, working closely with leading Partners and supporting matters across the Asia Pacific region. Our team is highly regarded for advising on complex, strategic and cross-border mandates across a broad range of industries.
In this role, you will gain exposure to a diverse mix of restructuring and insolvency matters, working across both contentious and non-contentious engagements. Our team advises creditors, debtors, directors and insolvency practitioners on matters such as voluntary administrations, receiverships, safe harbour, security enforcement, restructuring transactions and insolvency related disputes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Lawyer to build a strong foundation within a collaborative and high-performing team.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Work across both transactional and litigation matters
- Support formal insolvency processes, including administrations, receiverships and liquidations
- Assist with restructuring strategies and financial assessments
- Draft clear, commercially focused legal advice and documentation
- Partner with senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters
- Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
You will also benefit from structured mentoring by leading practitioners and be supported to develop your technical expertise, commercial acumen and client-facing skills.
About you
We are looking for a motivated and high-performing lawyer who:
- Is admitted in Australia with approximately 1–3 years’ PQE
- Has experience in, or a strong interest in, restructuring, insolvency or litigation
- Demonstrates strong technical, analytical and drafting skills
- Communicates effectively and builds credible relationships
- Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Shows initiative and a genuine commitment to developing their career
