The role will be primarily focused on restructuring work (insolvency, enforcements and special situations) and will also involve general transactional finance matters (lending, acquisition finance, asset and project finance, real estate finance, funds finance and structured finance). We understand the commercial, strategic, technical, geographical, and political factors that shape and impact our clients.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Assisting clients primarily in restructuring matters, including insolvency, enforcement and special situations, as well as in general transactional finance matters.
- Leading and managing deal teams and processes from initial discussions through closing, with strong structuring and negotiation components.
- Working on national, cross-border, complex transactions, with the ability to work hand-to-hand with other practices (e.g. corporate, M&A, tax, investment fundsand, when needed, litigation teams) and other offices handling matters and acting as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Contributing to the development and growth of the team and the Firm by taking business and marketing initiatives.
About you
- Ideally qualified (or soon to be qualified) in Luxembourg or another EU Member State.
- Ability to demonstrate an excellent academic record, with 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience across a broad range of restructuring and finance transactions.
- Have strong technical and organisational skills, with an international awareness and focus to their work.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English, French and German would be a plus.
- Ability to create and deliver sustainable, high quality client service whilst also considering clients' wider business objectives.
- Be keen to get involved in business development and help drive the Luxembourg practice forward.
- Well organized, proactive, flexible team player and culturally sensible.
- Able to lead and handle files independently – although you will always receive guidance when needed.
