Senior Finance Operations Specialist P2P is responsible for processing invoices, expense claims and payments in a timely and high quality manner as defined by Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, responds to assigned queries, resolves open items with vendors and collaborates closely with the P2P team seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, good customers experience and contributing to a positive working atmosphere.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Code and process invoices and expenses claims in line with procedures
  • Prepare and review payments proposal
  • Ensure that all processed documents are posted in accordance with accounting rules and legal compliance
  • Reverse and post correctly the documents posted with error
  • Handle customers' requests and enquiries
  • Write and maintain process documentation
  • Perform all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Seek opportunities for P2P process improvements and implement them
  • Both share and apply best practices in P2P area
  • Support Junior Finance Operations Specialist/Operations Specialist with the daily tasks
  • Act as a deputy for P2P Finance Operations Expert in the delegated areas and/or tasks
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ensure that all relevant company’s standards and guidelines are met

About you

  • Excellent English skills, French, German, Italian or Spanish will be a strong asset
  • Relevant experience in P2P area
  • University Degree preferably in accounting or relevant courses
  • Familiarity with basic computer programs (e.g. Excel, Word)
  • Attention to details
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Very good self-organization and target orientation skills
  • Customer and teamwork focus and capability
