We’re currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Legal Administration Team in Sydney, supporting our Litigation and Regulatory practice group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
As a Legal Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting multiple fee earners by delivering high-quality administrative services. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values precision, efficiency, and client service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing electronic and paper filing systems
- Handling accounts payable and expense claims
- Maintaining client databases and matter files
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Performing general administrative tasks (printing, photocopying, filing)
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- 2+ years’ experience in a legal or professional services environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Confidence working with numbers and managing competing priorities
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a sense of urgency
