
Marketing Junior Specialist – Pitch will support Marketers and Central Pitch Team in the pitch process, perform regular pitch tasks and statistics (weekly pitch reports, monthly reports, pitch updates), search for credentials, process GPNs.
Main duties and responsibilities
As a Marketing Junior Specialist – Pitch, you will:
- Complete pitch notification forms and support allocation of pitches to personnel according to guidelines
- Gather materials to support the pitch qualification process
- Engage with other business support teams (e.g. Finance, DP, Risk, Research, Design, Reprographics) and manage input to ensure timely delivery
- Collate pitch-related materials including CVs and credentials
- Perform regular administrative tasks supporting the Central Pitch Team
- Monitor, organise the International Pitch Team functional mailbox and responding to general queries in accordance with established SLA
- Complete pitch notification forms and supporting allocation of pitches to personnel according to a prescribed matrix
- Gather materials to support the pitch qualification process
- Prepare weekly and monthly pitch reports and contributing to the reports prepared by the team
- Add final materials to central databases
- Follow-up on outstanding pitch outcomes and update internal database
- Provide administrative support for marketing team where necessary
- Assist with creating and maintaining process documentation and reports as required
- Contribute to a customer and team work oriented atmosphere in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Assist with other daily tasks assigned by the Team Coordinator
- Cross-department/support function liaison: Working with colleagues across the Marketing Team to ensure deadlines are met and adopt a flexible approach to work allocation where workloads dictate. Working with colleagues within the Marketing department and other support areas to look to solve common issues and share best practice
The job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time.
About you
- Advanced English skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; experience of using InterAction/CRM systems would be beneficial
- Interest in a marketing/business development role, in particular pitch process support, experience in this field will be an asset
- Timeliness, accuracy and precision in task delivery
- Detail-oriented skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines, be methodical and logical, as well as thrive in a robust and fast-paced environment
- Ability to stay calm and composed in often demanding situations
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
- Proactive 'can do' attitude and a collaborative working style, able to work on own initiative as well as part of a wider team
