
Main duties and responsibilities
- Managing internal billing process for legal team, including timely distribution of invoices and financial reports
- Collaborating with legal team to review and verify billing data, resolve discrepancies and amend where necessary
- Verifying and maintaining compliant client data for billing
- Supporting financial audits by providing required documentation
- Assisting in the credit collection process and resolving payment issues
- Responding to various billing queries on a daily basis
- Co-operation with shared services team or other DLA Piper offices for multi-payer matter(s)
- Seeking opportunities for process improvements and applying improvements
- Keeping our onboarding material and Billing Q&A section up to date with relevant scenarios
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Finance
- Supporting colleagues on daily tasks and their own development
- Ensuring all relevant firm’s standards and guidelines are met
About you

Bachelor’s degree in business management or Accountancy, and you have 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an administrative financial role
- Experience in the similar role or administrative role in the fast-paced corporate environment
- Proficient in Dutch and/or French with a high level of written and spoken business English
- You are structured, well organized and like working with data and details
- You have advanced Excel knowledge
- You have a can-do attitude and go the extra mile when needed
- You have good interpersonal and communication skills and can manage multiple projects
- You are proactive by nature, a critical thinker and willing to learn fast and take up new challenges
- Knowledge of SAP 4/Hana is a plus
