
DLA Piper’s Litigation & Regulatory practice in Sydney is expanding, and we’re looking for a Solicitor to join our high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with globally recognised Partners and specialists on complex, high-stakes matters including international arbitration, construction disputes, and public international law.
You’ll be part of a team that has been recognised as Arbitration Practice Group of the Year by the Australian ADR Awards, reflecting our commitment to excellence and innovation in dispute resolution.
As a Solicitor you will:
- Collaborate with Partners and Solicitors on the Australian firm’s client strategy.
- Focus on international arbitration, construction, and public international law issues.
- Support the team in delivering high-quality advice to clients across jurisdictions.
- Engage with DLA Piper’s global Litigation & Regulatory network.
- Operate under the supervision of an Australian-qualified Partner (note: this is a lay associate role and does not involve engaging in legal practice in Australia).
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in large-scale international arbitration and litigation.
- Expertise in public international law and construction disputes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- A tertiary qualification in Law (including overseas jurisdictions); eligibility to requalify in Australia is desirable.
