We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources professional who enjoys a fast-paced and global environment, to be part of the Asia Human Resources team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reward, Governance and Human Resources Projects – Asia, this position works closely with the Human Resources Asia Hub, Global Mobility and other Human Resources teams to support Asia. This role oversees the management of Hong Kong Law Society administration and Hong Kong Payroll. The individual will also act as the main point of contact for all Global Mobility transactions on behalf of Asia as well as support the China Early Careers recruitment process, managing all benefit offerings and support Partner recruitment process across Asia.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the administration of all Hong Kong Law Society and Hong Kong Payroll matters in collaboration with the Asia Hub team, including the supervising the junior team members on operational activities
- Act as the main contact point for all Global Mobility transactions for Asia and manage inbound / outbound secondment and transfer requests including logistical arrangements. Handling general advisory on secondment, including remuneration, employment legislation, taxation, and relevant benefits.
- Support the administration and review of benefit offerings across Asia and work closely with the Senior Manager and local Human Resources to facilitate and execute recommended initiatives
- Work closely with the Head of Human Resources and Senior Reward Manager to ensure international and regional C&B initiatives' effective execution and timely completion.
- Prepare special studies and recommendations on the region's C&B related programs and plans
- Consult with Human Resources business partners to facilitate management and employee understanding of the total reward systems.
- Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine the company's competitive position.
- Assist in administrating the annual salary review process, including administration of the compensation planning system, analysis and communication to Human Resources Business Partners
- Support the China Early Careers end-to-end recruitment process, that working in collaboration with Talent Acquisition team and Asia Hub that includes candidate screening, selection and logistical planning for careers fairs and assessment days.
- Drive excellence in key operational Human Resources activities, including employee cycles, benefits reviews and renewal, performance management, compensation reviews, and annual budgeting
- Educate, mentor, and train all Human Resources staff on C&B processes, practices, and programs
- Ensure accurate and timely Human Resources reporting and system-related planning and maintenance
- Partnership
- Responsible for supporting the onboarding and offboarding framework for partners to help them understand our processes and compliance requirements
- Ensure the onboarding process is as smooth and efficient as possible for both internal teams and new partners
- Proactively follow up on accounts where necessary to ensure they are progressing through the relevant stages promptly
- Use a problem-solving mindset to find solutions in more difficult or complex cases to ensure that the candidate is successfully onboarded

About you
- Candidate with at least 5 years of Human Resources experience in a law firm, professional services or corporate environment
- Experiences in supporting the Asia region
- Familiarity with Human Resources systems (SucessFactors) and SNOW is a plus.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Chinese required to read benefit policies and handle administration in China)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, with the ability to work under pressure with efficiency and a keen eye for accuracy
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to handle changing situations in a timely manner
