THE OPPORTUNITY

DLA Piper is an international law firm operating on the Czech market for almost 20 years. DLA Piper has offices in more than 40 countries across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific region, providing comprehensive legal advice. The Prague office focuses primarily on advising on corporate, real estate, employment, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance transactions and litigation law.

DLA Piper Prague is looking for a new colleague for the position of Marketing Coordinator Junior!

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing & Communications: acting as coordinator on the development and delivery of a range of marketing and communication activities that contribute to the delivery of global and local marketing and business development (MBD) strategy. This may include: 

  • Acting as a support on the delivery of profile raising activities including website & digital content, external and internal communications, integrated campaigns, marketing collateral, branded items, legal directory and legal award submissions.
  • Ensuring that all marketing activities are aligned to the firm's strategic objectives and that all materials produced reflect DLA Piper's brand and adhere to the brand guidelines.
  • Be a key contact to liaise our marketing requests with our external suppliers such as graphic designers or administrative support centre for majority of the marketing tasks. 
  • Supporting the creation of social media content for Prague office and for internal and external websites.

Event Management: Planning and executing client-related, student and internal online or offline events: 

  • Taking responsibility for the creative, technical, and logistical elements. This includes overall event design, marketing and communication strategy, audio-visual production, script writing, logistics, budgeting, negotiation with catering providers, and client service.

Business Development: working with partners, lawyers and the MBD team to develop business across the Czech Republic. This may include:

  • Working alongside the MBD team locally and internationally to develop and support BD programmes and initiatives for key sectors and key clients.
  • Assistance with proposals, public tenders, mandate agreements and client-oriented presentations. 
  • Ensuring BD infrastructure such as credentials, CVs, awards and proposal content are kept up-to-date.

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree - preferably in business, marketing, communications, law or commerce.
  • 1-3 years experience in law firm or related field. 
  • Czech native speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), Social Media skills (Linkedin, Twitter, Youtube).
  • Previous experience working with CRM system and graphics design would be beneficial.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to distinguish between urgent and important tasks.
  • Must be detail-orientated, team player, proactive and flexible.
