Every year, DLA Piper welcomes the best law students to meet with its lawyers during a one-day Talent Class. It is the opportunity for you to discover first-hand what makes DLA Piper a different type of law firm; and for us to discover your motivations to become a business lawyer and maybe join our law firm.

What can I expect from the Talent Class?

We have prepared a full day where you will have the opportunity to meet with our lawyers from various practices. You will discover why DLA Piper is another kind of law firm, and find out more about our firm. You will also have the opportunity to work in groups to prepare and present a business case. The day will end with a social dinner and drinks giving you plenty of opportunity to network with us and each other.

Where will the Talent Class be held?

The Talent Class will be held at our DLA Piper London office.

What is the date and time of the Talent Class?

The Talent Class is on 20 October 2022. It will start around 10:00am London time and end around 7pm followed by a closing dinner and networking opportunity.

To start to get to know you, we ask that you submit the following documents:

• Your CV
• A motivation letter with indication of your two practices of preference
• Your University Honors – detailed academic results

Is there a deadline to apply and when is it?

You can apply until Friday 30 September 2022 (before 11am London time).

What qualifications do I need to be able to apply for the Talent Class?

You must be following Law studies within a United Kingdom university at Master 2 level or in a Complementary Master or LLM.

I have been accepted to the Talent Class. When is the deadline to confirm my place?

Please confirm your attendance by Monday 10 October 2022 (before 6pm London time) at the latest. Due to the limited seats available, your seat will be assigned to another candidate, if you do not confirm by this deadline. 

What if I cannot attend on the specified day?

What practical information do I need to know?

Should you be accepted for the Talent Class and leaving for London from Belgium, you will need a valid passport. As a Belgian (EU) citizen, you are not required to apply for a visa. 

For all COVID-related matters, please make sure you comply with the latest requirements. You will find more information on the Belgian web portal for travel to the UK (https://diplomatie.belgium.be/).

Accommodation and transfers are provided.
