One of the major transformational programmes is driven within our HR function, this had commenced by the implementation of new sophisticated content allocation, using scalable technology. We are now looking to employ a People Experience Specialist, who will be responsible for the end-to-end management of one or more DLA Piper deliverables within the People Experience workstream.  

Project areas include but are not limited to:

  • HR Service Catalogue development; identification of associated KPIs and SLAs, and HR Service country transition planning/approach/implementation 
  • New customer channels adoption strategy and approach 
  • Knowledge transfer plan- GSC/shared service focused
  • Go live planning and activity coordination, hyper care and stabilisation

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The People Experience Specialist is accountable for delivery in-line with the agreed scope, timelines, quality and budget related to specific deliverables/workstream activities/projects. 

  • Partner with programme team members and the wider DLA Piper organisation in the definition, documentation and successful completion of people experience workstream deliverables
  • Leverage the ‘voice of the business’ outputs in ensuring that ‘people experience’ is at the heart of process and service design, taking on board best practice to ensure design is fit for the future firm
  • Support the streamlining and standardisation of service delivery wherever appropriate, working with HR Transformation Leads to develop country service strategies aligned to the international plan
  • Support the development and adoption of new technologies, including SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow, identifying opportunities to improve the user experience, maximise automation and enable HR operational efficiency

ABOUT YOU

The job holder is expected to be comfortable managing all types of projects relevant to the People Experience workstream. This is a business facing role and, as such, strong stakeholder management and leadership skills are of critical importance.  

Specific, skills, experience and characteristics include:

  • Experience of managing complex HR transformation projects in a structured way.  Proven planning and organisational skills gained within an HR context
  • Significant experience of HR shared services operating models, associated design and governance considerations, HR process and service design methodologies
  • Understands and can demonstrate application of key project management governance, controls, responsibilities, methods, lifecycles, tools and techniques, to plan and deliver operational execution
  • Able to deploy best practice project management and business change theory as appropriate
