An opportunity has become available for a high performing and commercial Solicitor (with at least 4 years' experience) to join our Real Estate team based in Sydney.
The national DLA Piper Real Estate team undertakes a diverse range of work including domestic and in-bound property acquisitions and disposals, complex asset management, capital transactions, property developments and structuring. The team also partners with our Corporate and Finance & Projects teams on some of their most significant transactions including M&A, infrastructure and mining and renewable energy projects.
In this position, you will work closely with Partners Kate Pickthall and Stephanie Lambert who are both leaders in the field and you will become part of a high performing, collaborative and supportive team. You will be exposed to interesting, high quality and challenging work, providing advice to a variety of domestic and overseas corporate clients including some of Australia's leading institutional real estate groups and some of the world's most exciting developers and investors.
This role also offers a high level of exposure to DLA Piper’s international network which provides opportunities to work with colleagues located around the world as well as opportunities to travel (both domestically and internationally).
To be successful in this position, you will need to have strong technical skills and a high degree of commerciality coupled with the ability to develop and maintain high quality relationships with clients. You will have a mature, confident approach and be highly motivated, thriving in a busy and growing practice.
You will enjoy and pride yourself on your business development skills, as well as your ability to effectively manage your own workload and lead/mentor junior team members.
