An opportunity has become available for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our national HR team in Perth on a part time fixed term based for 12 months. The role involves working amongst a national HR team who are supportive, high performing and highly collaborative.


As a valued member of our Human Resources team, you are invited to learn the true meaning of business partnership in your role as a HR Advisor based in our Perth office. You will be responsible for a national portfolio aligned to a HR Manager who you will support, along with assistance from our national HR administrative team. On a day-to-day basis you will provide high quality, commercial, practical and responsive HR advice to employees on all areas of generalist HR. Your day could include financial and business improvements, engagement and retention strategies, culture, values and change management, recruitment, talent mapping and identification, performance management and career conversations, succession and learning and development, mobility, and remuneration and benefits.

We are looking an experienced HR advisor who is looking to work part time, ideally 3 – 4 days per week and ready to continue their career in a global law firm. 

To be successful in the role, you will ideally have:

  • A relevant degree in Human Resources
  • Strong HR generalist background (with at least 2+ years relevant experience) preferably in a professional services/ partnership environment
  • A growth mind set with a focus on improving self with constructive feedback
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail and highly responsive
  • Ability to work under pressure, resilient, and robust
  • A positive attitude, a strong, honest and supportive team player with the ability to work autonomously whilst working as part of a team
  • The capability to work both autonomously and amongst a large team
