The role

Great opportunity to join our Litigation & Regulatory, White Collar Crime practice group in Milan. You will be supporting lawyers and partners of the team with regards to all matters relating to compliance with various types of laws and actions by law enforcement and regulatory agencies in the field of white collar crime, including tax, corporate and financial violations, crimes against the Public Administration and in relation to IP, health and safety in the workplace, environmental and malfunctioning product issues. 


  • Assisting clients in developing and implementing relevant compliance programmes (e.g., Models 231), providing training, and undertaking reviews of compliance programmes
  • Advising on compliance with various types of laws, including Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering
  • Managing internal investigations for organisations covering a broad range of subject matters with a particular focus on allegations of financial crime such as bribery and corruption, fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, improper accounting practices and other similar misconduct
  • Managing enquiries, investigations and enforcement actions initiated by government departments and/or regulators
  • Defending companies, senior executives, and employees in criminal prosecutions and enforcement actions
  • Advising on all aspects of white collar criminal investigations and proceedings, including where clients are involved as victims
  • Conducting due diligence in connection with compliance issues arising in mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, and assisting in drafting and commenting on relevant contractual protections
  • In conjunction with relevant colleagues, dealing with disputes arising from corporate criminal matters, including contentious employment proceedings and civil litigation


  • Italian qualified Lawyer with excellent academis records
  • We do not set up upper or lower limits of PQE for our vacancies. However, we think that candidates having between 1 and 3 years’ experience are likely to have the right level of expertise to undertake the role
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills in English and Italian
