We are looking for an experienced litigation and regulatory professional to join our International Knowledge team as a Knowledge Development Lawyer to support DLA Piper Australia's L&R practice and the international Knowledge team.

Working with the International Head of Knowledge – Litigation and Regulatory, Knowledge Partner and Marketing Business Development, the successful candidate will design and execute on the L&R practice's Knowledge agenda by delivering knowledge objectives tailored to the group and upskilling our lawyers through targeted training. The successful candidate will enhance the ability of the L&R practice to build brand profile by thought leadership and supporting other MBD projects. They will be a critical player in our AI transformation and education.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the Litigation &Regulatory Knowledge strategy.
    Oversee the knowledge agenda, including curating, maintaining and embedding precedents, templates, insights and lessons learned into practice.
  • Champion AI and innovation in legal service delivery.
    Drive the safe adoption of AI, co-design AI use cases, embed AI-driven workflows, and maintain high-quality knowledge inputs for AI in litigation.
  • Enable high-quality legal work and collaboration.
    Support lawyers with legal research, facilitate matter debriefs, embed learnings into resources, and promote a strong culture of knowledge sharing locally and internationally.

About you

  • A senior Australian qualified lawyer with considerable practice experience in litigation and regulatory (or equivalent) preferably with experienced in investigations work.
  • Curious and progressive mindset with active engagement of AI and legal innovation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect, influence and collaborate.
  • Experience of developing knowledge resources and delivering training.
