
Role Purpose
GL & Reporting Team Leader leads the Team in GSC supporting multiple business units and locations, actively supports development of the GSC, is responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, improves operational effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s performance, resolves problems and develops the team.
Main duties and responsibilities

Leading Team’s performance on daily operational and tactical basis
- Ensuring compliance with agreed processes and applicable policies and procedures
- Managing escalation process
- Reporting and managing metrics to assess performance of the team and provided services according to service level agreements
- Supporting GSC Management in understanding Customers’ needs and supporting implementation of new solutions
- Supporting Transitions, Continuous Improvement and other firm streams in identifying business requirements for new solutions and services
- Providing required analysis of process performance as well as support identification of additional analysis perspectives to support Manager’s decisions
- Identifying and implementing improvements in process and work organization including active participation in technology implementations
- People management, including recruitment, onboarding of new staff to the Team, facilitating technical/functional training or leveraging other training resources, measuring individual and team performance, providing feedback, counselling and coaching as needed, confronting employee issues, managing corrective action process, supporting Manager on annual salary planning process for the Team
- Managing the implementation of new technologies
About you

Very good English skills required
- Very good people management skills and ability to work in international diversified professional environment
- 2+ years' experience in General Ledger / Record to Report process areas.
- Master’s degree preferable in accounting or related courses
- Thorough understanding of finance processes and respective control framework
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with customers (customer focus, stakeholder and expectations management skills)
- Problem solving, priority setting, planning, delegation, directing others, managing and evaluating work capabilities
