Role Purpose

Cash Management Junior Accountant is responsible for processing Bank Statement in a timely and quality manner as defined by Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, responds to assigned enquiries and collaborates closely within the Treasury and AP and Expenses team seeking opportunities for improving GSC customers experience and contributing to a positive working atmosphere.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Process Bank Statement in accordance with procedures

  • Ensure that all bank statement position are posted in accordance to accounting rules and legal compliances

  • Seek opportunities for process improvements and applying improvements

  • Both share and apply best practices in finance area

  • Create and provide reports on customer request and Team Leader requests

  • Reconciliation of holding accounts in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs

  • Communicate with internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner

  • Ensure that all relevant company’s standards and guidelines are met

About you

  • Excellent English skills asset

  • University Degree preferably in accounting or relevant courses

  • Familiarity with basic computer programs (e.g. Excel, Word), Internet skills

  • Attention to details

  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment

  • Very good self-organization and target orientation skills

  • Customer and teamwork focus and capability
