
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our growing Intellectual Property team in Sydney and be part of a full-service global business law firm.
You will have the widest platform to progress your career and work on multijurisdictional intellectual property cases for Australian and International clients across a wide range of sectors, including life sciences and technology, and to advise life sciences clients on a wide range of complex regulatory issues. Our clients benefit from a valuable combination of global insight and local knowledge that allows us to handle all aspects of complex domestic and cross-border matters. Understanding the sector and the day-to-day issues faced by our clients is critical to our success.
We are experienced with complex, multi-jurisdictional IP litigation. Our lawyers litigate business-critical disputes, advise on complex life sciences regulatory and other issues, manage global portfolios, and handle complex transactions. We deliver success for many of the world’s most recognised companies.
Main duties and responsibilities

Provide strategic advice on patent issues, other intellectual property issues and life sciences regulatory issues.

Represent clients in patent and other intellectual property disputes.

Stay updated on the latest legal and sector developments and technological advancements.

Collaborate with a global team to deliver top-tier legal services.
About you

5 -7-year PQE.

Solid experience in patent and other intellectual property disputes and in advising on life sciences regulatory issues.

Excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working.

Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner.

Ability to manage complex and varied workloads efficiently to the highest standard.
