We have a unique opportunity for a legal graduate to join our high performing Legal Delivery Centre, based in Brisbane, Perth or Sydney working across Corporate matters. The Legal Delivery Centre (LDC) is at the front edge of the firm’s drive to use innovative delivery techniques and the latest software to provide clients with new solutions and servicing options.

Our Paralegals work collaboratively using streamlined processes, legal technical know-how, and cutting-edge technology to design and deliver routine or document-heavy legal services efficiently.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in interesting, challenging premium quality work on a local and international basis in a range of areas. This newest team member will have a main focus on Corporate M&A activity and will require a background in this space.

Main duties and responsibilities

Our team is cross-skilled to ensure the LDC has the flexibility to adjust to variations in demand. Responsibilities will depend on the assignment and may involve work connected to one or more of the following:

  • Disclosure reviews
  • Contract drafting and negotiation
  • Company searches
  • End to end Corporate deal support
  • Quality checks

About you

  • Corporate paralegal experience, ideally specifically across Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Completed tertiary qualification in law
  • Practical Legal Training completion preferred
  • High level attention to detail and computer literacy with an interest in developing your AI assisted skills to apply in the legal environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Agile and collaborative approach with flexibility to adapt to different activities and priorities
