We have a unique opportunity for a Team Manager- Electronic Data Review to join our high performing Legal Delivery Centre, based in Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney. The Legal Delivery Centre (LDC) is at the front edge of the firm’s drive to use innovative delivery techniques and the latest software to provide clients with new solutions and servicing options.
The Electronic Data Review team is a very significant part of the LDC. The team supports contentious activity connected to disclosure and investigations, where there is a requirement to assess large volumes of electronic documents or other data. As Team Manager you will work closely with Lawyers and Members of the Electronic Data Management team by leading on developing and improving electronic data review processes.
The Team Manager forms part of the LDC management team in Australia which means you can expect to have some broader exposure to development of the LDC generally and promotion of the suite of services that form part of the firms Law& capability.

Main duties and responsibilities
You will be:
- Responsible for the Electronic Data Review team, including performance, continuous improvement and expansion of the service.
- Expected to:
- Spot and anticipate issues and propose solutions
- Work closely and efficiently with Group lawyers and the Electronic Data Management team
- Assess opportunities to improve either the team, processes or service
- Lead appropriate change through to delivery in a timely and effective manner
- Be capable of forming strong links with instructing lawyers
- A supportive manager who champions personal development and a strong team player
About you
You will have the capabilities of a lawyer to assess and understand issues, the diligence of a project manager, excellent communication skills and a high degree of technical proficiency in understanding different data types and the issues that will likely arise during the course of any specific review. Additionally, your prior experience will mean you have a detailed understanding of how to best configure Relativity (or equivalent software) to best support the review.
The expectation is that you will have upwards of 3 years prior experience in an existing or prior role as an Electronic Data Review Manager and you will be a qualified lawyer (not necessarily in Australia) with disputes experience.
