Nuestro programa de prácticas de verano tiene una duración de entre 1 y tres meses (junio, julio y agosto) en donde tendrás la oportunidad de adquirir las habilidades y conocimientos jurídicos que te prepararan para el futuro laboral.

Durante tus prácticas, conocerás de primera mano, como se desenvuelve y se trabaja en un despacho Internacional como el nuestro junto a profesionales del más alto nivel en derecho de los negocios.

Gracias a nuestro programa de tutorías, dispondrás de una red de apoyo que te ayudará a encontrar tu lugar en nuestra red global y te guiará a lo largo de tu carrera.

¿Cómo es el proceso de selección?

El proceso empezará a partir del mes de enero de 2025 y dejaremos de recibir candidaturas el 30 de marzo de 2025.

Para aplicar, te recomendamos que nos incluyas tu área de preferencia para realizar tus prácticas; además de adjuntar tu CV (en inglés preferiblemente) y expediente académico actualizado.

Nuestro proceso incluye los siguientes pasos:

  • Criba curricular
  • Prueba online en inglés
  • Dinámica de grupo
  • Entrevista con el equipo de HR
  • Entrevista con el Recruitment Committee del área de práctica de tu interés

¿A quién buscamos?

  • Estudiantes de 4to y 5to año de grado y doble grado en Derecho
  • Excelente expediente académico
  • Nivel avanzado de inglés (C1 en adelante) hablado, escrito y leído

The opportunity

DLA Piper Spain is one of the leading law firms in the field of international law and is part of DLA Piper, a global law firm that operates through independent legal entities in over 40 countries.

You will have the opportunity to interact with other DLA Piper offices to improve and test your technical legal skills internationally. We strive to give the opportunity to our interns to feel and understand the Lawyers' world to be prepared for their professional challenges of tomorrow.

We offer law students the opportunity to do a one/three-months internship during the summer months (June, July or August), full-time internship, to get to know our law firm and gain insights into the international work.

About you

We are looking for Interns with a strong leadership potential, who are passionate about law and about international culture, with the following aptitudes:

  • Currently studying the 4th or 5th year of Law degree or doble degree
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills in Spanish and English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Personal commitment and learning attitude
  • Stays current on key legal and business news
  • Commercially astute
  • Motivated and team player

Our selection process:

Should your application be successful you will be invited to complete a few standard online tests that explore your language capabilities.

Following these tests, we may ask you to attend an assessment day and you should do a Dynamic group. This day gives you the opportunity to visit our offices (circumstances allowing) and meet key members of our firm.

To select the best candidates, we will end the process doing interviews with our HR team and with members of the Recruitment Committees of the Group practices you are willing to join.

Our hiring approach

Our hiring approach enables us to learn about the professional and person you are, and gives you the opportunity to learn about us. Your recruitment experience can differ depending on the type of role you are interviewing for. You will always meet your direct Line Manager for your role, as well as peers and close collaborators for the position. For some of our roles we may also use assessment tools, practical exercises, and panel presentations. Your Recruitment Business Partner will inform you of the recruitment process at the start of any recruitment process, but please let us know if you have any questions prior to making an application.
