The role

Our Finance, Projects & Restructuring group is recognised as a leading international practice and acts for banks, sponsors and major corporates on a broad range of transactions. The deals that the group are involved in span a wide range of work areas and many deals are multi-jurisdictional.

Due to the fast growth of the practice group we are looking for experienced new hires. A pro-active, commercial and flexible approach to help drive the team forward is essential. The key areas of work you would expect to get involved in are:

  • Syndicated lending
  • Acquisition finance
  • Real Estate Finance
  • Financial Structuring
  • Debt capital markets
  • Asset Finance
  • Leveraged Finance



  • Previous experience in a similar role in private practice
  • The successful candidate will need to possess excellent technical skills and attention to detail
  • Developed team work, project management and client care abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

Client Relationship Management

  • Taking a lead role in advising the client under appropriate supervision
  • Providing commercial and legal advice to the client
  • Networking with client to capitalise on new business opportunities


  • Taking initial instructions internally or externally, delegating where appropriate
  • Ability to take personal responsibility for and ownership of delivery
  • Coaching less experienced associates and trainees
