THE OPPORTUNITY
Join our Middle East Marketing & BD Hub as Marketing & Business Development Executive. The hub provides support across a range of marketing and business development activities for the office locations throughout the Middle East, which includes UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and KSA.
As an Executive with a particular focus on pitching your primary responsibilities will be the preparation and delivery of pitches throughout the region.
This role will at times provide you with the opportunity to get involved in the wider range of marketing activities.
Occasional travel within the Middle East may be required.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development: support Partners and lawyers in producing market leading pitches and proposals. Work closely with senior marketing colleagues to ensure best practice is adopted.
Systems and Process: gain a solid understanding of the firms approach to pitching and be confident to deliver drafts to Partners. Be an advocate for the firms approach to the Bid /No Bid process and be capable of running this process. Ensure that the outcome of pitches are captured and logged on the system.
Marketing: occasional support to regional marketing initiatives such as the delivery of profile-raising activities including Events, Legal Directory and Legal Award submissions, Sponsorships, Website & Digital content, Client Communications, Marketing Collateral. Ensure that all marketing activities support delivery of the firm’s strategic objectives and that all materials produced reflect DLA Piper’s brand and adhere to the brand guidelines.
