The role

As a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator at DLA Piper in Spain, you will play a pivotal role in driving the firm’s business development efforts. You will work closely with our team to support various initiatives, including pitch development and Business Development campaigning.  

Your attention to detail, collaborative mindset, and creativity will be crucial to enhancing and fostering client relationships.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Coordinator will support the MBD senior team members and the whole Madrid office working mainly on:

  • Marketing: Create and refine materials to play a leading role on ensuring our BD messages are consistent across all standard capability statements and pitching content.
  • Pitching: Contribution to and development of compelling pitches and proposals that effectively showcase our services and expertise to potential local and international clients. 
  • Directories & Local awards submissions
  • Events
  • CRM: Champion our new marketing systems (including a global credentials database and a proposal automation tool).
  • External providers
  • Design & guidelines

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Candidates who have a minimum of three and maximum of five years’ experience of Marketing and Business Development matters within a professional services or legal environment, are likely to have the right level of knowledge and have gained the right level of experience needed to be able to undertake this role. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling materials and contribute to effective pitches in English and Spanish.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • A positive attitude, a sense of humor, and a passion for contributing to the overall success of the team.
