The role

Cash Management Team Leader leads the Cash Management team in GSC supporting multiple business units and locations, actively supports development of the GSC in area of Cash Management, is responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, improves operational effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s performance, resolves problems and develops the team. 
 

The Cash Management Team Leader will:

  • Lead Cash Management team performance on daily operational and tactical basis
  • Ensure compliance with agreed processes and applicable policies and procedures
  • Manage escalation process and providing approval within the team
     

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Specific duties will include:

  • Lead Cash Management team performance on daily operational and tactical basis
  • Ensure compliance with agreed processes and applicable policies and procedures
  • Manage escalation process and providing approval within the team
  • Ensure integration with other teams within Finance including seeking opportunities for cross-team cost effective solutions
  • Report and manage metrics to asses performance of the team and provided services relative to service level agreements and customers, vendors and team
  • Support GSC Management and understanding Customers’ needs and support implementation of new solutions and service offerings
  • Support Transition, Continuous Improvement and Technology teams on identifying business requirements for new solutions and services
  • Provide required analysis of Cash Management process performance as well as support identification of  additional analysis perspectives to support Manager’s decisions
  • Identify and implement improvements in process and work organization including active participation in technology implementations.
  • People management, including:  staffing & selection, integration of new staff to teams, facilitating technical/functional training or leveraging other training resources, measuring individual and team performance, managing talents in order to maximize potential of team members, providing feedback, counselling and coaching as needed, confronting employee issues, managing corrective action process (with HR consultation), terminating employees (with HR consultation), supporting Management on annual salary planning process for the team
     

ABOUT YOU
 

  • Very good English skills required, other languages will be a strong asset
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in finance, preferable in shared service or BPO environment with broad international exposure
  • University degree preferable in accounting or related courses. Masters’ degree a plus
  • Team Leading experience
  • Thorough understanding of treasury processes and respective control framework
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with customers (customer focus, stakeholder and expectations management skills)
  • Problem solving, priority setting, planning, delegation, directing others, managing and evaluating work capabilities
  • Good people management skills and ability to work in international diversified professional environment
  • Knowledge and working experience of technology tools supporting process quality and efficiency will be an asset
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methods will be an asset
  • Experience in SAP and Service Now implementation will be a great asset
