The role

We pride ourselves on giving new legal professionals a truly unique experience. Whether you’re a student or graduate we aim to give you the tools and experience to forge a successful career in law. That means combining learning with experience and giving you the opportunity to work with people at all levels of our business.

Gain first-hand experience of working at DLA Piper with our in-person Beijing Summer Internship. Our 2-months paid programme starts with an induction followed by time working in your chosen office location. The programme will provide you with opportunities to explore your interests and make informed career choices.

Your time with us:

Our Beijing Summer Internship is designed to give you an insight to what life at DLA Piper is really like.

The induction will allow you to meet new people and hear from senior members of the firm. You will discover more about the firm’s practice groups and sectors, our approach to radical change and technology, as well as diversity, equality, and inclusion. You will also spend time building your professional skills and workplace capabilities to ensure you have the best internship experience possible.

During your internship you’ll undertake work experience across our practice groups in your chosen office location.

What we look for:

In addition to the eligibility criteria, we look for those with the behaviours, strengths and skills that will enable success at DLA Piper and within a legal career. These include, but are not limited to:
