Overview:  

Discover what it truly means to be a part of a global law firm with our Insight Programme, where you’ll get the chance to immerse yourself in practical workshops, panel discussions and much more. 

The DLA Piper Insight Programme brings together university students from any degree discipline from across the UK and Ireland who are interested in finding out more about a career in Law. 

Your time with us: 

Our programme includes: 

• Information sessions about DLA Piper, our practice groups and our global scale in the legal sector
• An interactive case study that brings the job of a Lawyer to life
• Professional skills training and advice on how to excel in the selection process for an internship
• The opportunity to meet our people; our senior representatives and current trainees

Furthermore, upon completion you will qualify for a priority application to our Summer Internship Programme at any of our participating international offices. (Note, you will require the right to work for the duration of the Summer Internship at your chosen office).  

Eligibility: 

• If you are studying a law degree: you can apply for the programme if you are a first-year student on a three-year course, or a second-year student on a four-year course
• If you are studying a non-law degree: you can apply for the programme if you are in your second-year on a three year course, or a third-year student on a four year course
• We welcome applications from any degree discipline
• You are only able to apply once per year and cannot apply if you have submitted an application for a Summer Internship
