An exciting opportunity has become available for a high performing Senior Client Accounting Services Assistant to work across DLA Piper's Finance Team in our Brisbane Office.

In this dynamic position, you will be part of collaborative teams where you will provide a range of support including the processing of daily trust transactions and general administration across the finance team.

  • Handling local office trust requirements
  • Billing Support
  • Accounts Payable
  • Client matter management
  • Assisting Legal Assistants with Finance queries
  • General Finance Administration


  • 4+ years experience working in a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Pride yourself on accuracy, excellent organisational skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure. 
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a virtual team
  • A proactive team player with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service
  • Experience using SAP (or a similar medium to large Practice Management System) would be highly advantageous
  • High level experience working in finance and billing with strong administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), demonstrate an eye for detail and approach your tasks with enthusiasm and pride
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, and relish the opportunity to exercise your proven time management and organisational skills to deliver excellent client service
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the MS Suite
