THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Senior Engineer for SAP integrations, you will have a high level of experience in engineering and support in a Service and Operational environment and a deep understanding of the relevant fields of expertise.
The role resides in the Integrated Services Squad within IT. The IT function is a key part of our business services and operates across International with key hubs in Leeds, Warsaw and Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth).
Engineers will provide 3rd line support across the SAP Platform, working with the Core Operations and Integrated Solutions squad delivering Services for every aspect of Customer’s software implementation, transformation or upgrade project, as well as in operations.
Through Ownership and Resolution of Incidents and Problems, routine maintenance and administration and continuous improvement and quality management across the SAP Landscape. Interfacing with Core IT Operations, Integrations and SAP Platform Teams and 3rd Party Support Partners and Vendors.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communications skills, both oral and written as well as having a thorough knowledge of the business and the technical aspects of the area being supported and the hardware and software environment in which it runs. Able to deal with difficult and sometimes complex problems.
Experience of Information systems concepts and practice as well as working in a fast paced, complex global environment with multiple regulatory requirements is a distinct advantage.
About the Team
The IT SAP Platform is a new service offering within IT to support the new SAP platforms covering HR and Finance Services. The team has been formed to cover end to end service levels to the business services within DLA Piper and is supported by an underpinning 3rd party to provide Level 3 Application and platform expertise. The IT SAP Platform works within IT and collaborates with other teams within IT and Finance Systems to ensure that ITIL best practice is followed and that consistent resolutions are delivered to the business.

The role holder will have experience of working on large-scale international business transformation programmes, matrix service organisations or Enterprise / global services preferably with experience of working on programmes that involve the introduction of new technology and have:
o iManage Document Management technology, specifically Work 10 infrastructure and applications.
o MS Office, specifically M365 and related Azure Technologies
o BigHand Dictation and Workflow
o InTapp Walls (Information Barriers and Time)
o Workshare Compare and Protect
o Honeywell Pro-Watch
o GMRM (NFS Rendezvous)
o Knowledge of technologies such as Powershell scripting, Ansible & Terraform, SQL, Windows Server 2012-2019.
o Cloud technologies, such as IaaS and SaaS and where, how, and when to use them. Also, how cloud technologies can be used and implemented in our business environment.
o Endpoint and server security systems and how they interact with the Applications supported in the business environment.
o Relevant industry recognised qualifications
