THE OPPORTUNITY
We know exceptional experiences begin with exceptional people. Individuals coming together, to make business better. At DLA Piper, we make this happen by creating a culture where passion, individuality and excellence is celebrated every day. A culture that recognizes that no two careers or two people are the same. A culture, that you have the opportunity to build and contribute to.
As a valued member of our national Human Resources team, you are invited to learn the true meaning of business partnership in your role as a Human Resources Manager. This is a 12-month fixed term contract based in our Melbourne office. Working as part of a collaborative and inclusive HR team, this role leads and manages the people agenda for national practice groups and teams, as well as having a location-based HR focus.
Operating in an international HR business partnering model, supported by an HR Advisor, HR Coordinator and partnering with Centres of Excellence (COE) specialist roles, each HRM has a high degree of autonomy managing a combination of legal practice and business services support groups, as well as having responsibility for location-based HR needs, partnering with the Office Managing Partner (OMP) and other local stakeholders on engagement and other local HR initiatives. Working with our specialist areas you will actively identify gaps, opportunities and implement changes necessary to progress our people strategy.
