Following recent growth of our team in Doha and a strong pipeline of work, we have a new role for a Contentious Construction, Projects and Infrastructure Senior Associate to join our market leading specialist team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role, along with one other seniors, in supporting George Vlavianos, the Doha Office Managing Partner, in leading the team and developing key clients.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The key focus of the role will be on regional and international construction and energy disputes. Acting for a diverse client and sector base, the successful candidate will gain direct experience in all aspects of disputes avoidance, management and resolution of high quality, highly complex disputes in the infrastructure, construction and transport sectors.
The majority of the work will be cross-border and international in nature, working with our global network of offices, so this will suit candidates with a similar mind-set and aspirations to work across jurisdictions. Likewise, candidates must be able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and act as a role model to direct reports and colleagues alike.
