The decision was based on the promise of being able to work directly on the day-to-day business instead of just doing research work on the long bench, as well as the possibility of an elective placement abroad at one of the more than 90 DLA Piper offices worldwide.

Both proved to be true for me. To this day, I am particularly impressed by the collegial environment and the firm's international outlook.
