Why did you choose to work at DLA Piper?

Ever since law school, I knew that I wanted to start my career as a lawyer at a leading global law firm, where I could learn from the best and work on the most complex cases. DLA Piper was one of my top choices, so I applied for the DLA Piper Summer Internship which gave me the opportunity to get to know the local team.

I chose to work at DLA Piper because I met a highly qualified team of lawyers with extensive knowledge and experience. I also met a team that has supported me and helped me develop as a lawyer since I joined as a student.

What has surprised you most about DLA Piper?

The firm's investment in the development and skills of its lawyers. Especially as a newly qualified lawyer, it was so encouraging to see how many training and development programmes are available for lawyers at all levels of experience, as well as ongoing mentoring and guidance.

I was also surprised by the firm's commitment to ensuring that lawyers have access to the resources and tools they need to do their best work.
