I joined in 2004 as a trainee and was attracted by the international outlook and expansion of the firm.

At the time I applied, the firm had just opened their Madrid office, and international work appealed to me as a dual Spanish / British national.

Now I’m a partner at DLA Piper, specialising in major infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, roads, airports, etc) in the transport, defence, health and education sectors.

What makes me stay is the high-profile, complex and interesting work I do, the clients I work for and the team I work with - I’m very lucky!
