In the Property & Workplace team, we thrive on challenges. Our focus is on the things that keep our offices welcoming and running smoothly – our people, our visitors, post, document services and security. If you take pride in creating a great experience in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect team for you.
In 2018 DLA Piper’s office in Prague won the Law Firm category at the Best Office of the Year awards. The awarding panel, consisting of architecture, design, human resources and other sector experts, awarded DLA Piper Prague Law Firm of the Year.
Celebrating 160 years of DLA Piper’s presence in the City of London in 2018, our London office at 160 Aldersgate has been designed as a world-class office space. The floors are interspersed with a variety of different workspaces, as well as wellbeing facilities including a café, wellness space and fitness room. In addition to a 200-seat auditorium, there are 36 client meeting rooms and a dedicated academy space created for the learning and development needs of our people.
Our commitment to reducing our impact on the environment includes an initiative to reduce significantly our use of polystyrene food boxes, plastic water cups, coffee cups and chemical cleaning products at our UK offices. This initiative has reduced our monthly usage of chemical cleaners by over 250 litres a month and saved tens of thousands of cups and boxes going to landfill every month.
In the Asia-Pacific region we have introduced a new electronic file management system to improve the quality of our services. The positive results of this initiative include faster access to archived files, reduced paper requirements and waste, and decreased need for and costs of physical storage.

“My background is in commercial property management, and I joined DLA Piper from Scotland’s largest property specialists. I wanted to move my career forward, and found the role and the team at DLA Piper were the right fit for my values and ambition.
In my short time with the firm I have been given the opportunity to get involved in interesting national and international projects. I am appreciated for the skills and knowledge that I bring to the team, and I have a manager who supports me and I learn a lot from.”

“There’s never a dull moment in facilities management. I enjoy the problem-solving part of my role the most – the multi-tasking and so on – as well as interacting with new starters, making sure they feel welcome on their first day.
DLA Piper is a well-respected firm whose vision and values are aligned with my own, which is why I was attracted to the firm. That and all the pro bono work we do.”

“My role at DLA Piper is to provide and ensure excellent service to our internal and external clients. It starts with a smile and a “good morning” when people arrive to work and continues with managing the meeting rooms, catering, reception and all kind of different requests during the day from our clients.
I love my role as I am a central point of contact inside our office for external and internal people. It makes me feel good giving a five-star service and at the same time having an open ear to my internal clients and receiving a smile back from them. My role is quite flexible, challenging and totally different. This is what makes it so interesting every day.”
