The role

We are seeking a dynamic HR professional who enjoys a fast-paced and global environment, to be part of the Asia HR team. Sitting within the Asia Hub, you will support all HR operational activities for Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. The role-holder will work closely with colleagues in the Asia HR team based across different office locations and in international HR teams.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Being the first point of contact for employees and will answer employee’s enquiries via SNOW, including benefits, leave policies, or general HR matters, responsiveness is crucial.
  • Managing and updating personal and employment information, and any relevant documentation, through systems or physical documents. Managing system updates and actions for candidate offers and onboarding, and other employment movements such as promotions, transfers, or terminations. 
  • Providing end-to-end employee cycle support including visa applications/renewals, law society related applications/renewals, change of employment terms and ad-hoc administration etc.  
  • Collaborating closely with the HR system teams and HR Global Service Centre (“GSC”) to address any system and/or process related issues promptly. Handle escalations timely and being able to find solutions for system and HR process challenges will be essential.
  • Ensuring that all HR policies and procedures are followed and escalate any complicated issues to HR Business Partner or other relevant international HR teams.
  • Preparing and liaising with the reporting teams to provide HR reports as required. 
  • Providing administrative support to Asia HR team as required. It includes the support to Network of Excellence (“NOE”) functions, HR projects, team meetings and etc.

ABOUT YOU

  • Candidate with at least 2 – 3 years of HR experience in a professional services or corporate environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems (SucessFactors) and SNOW would be highly preferable.
  • Fluency in English is a must and preferably, Cantonese and/or Mandarin Chinese.  Any additional Asia language skills will be an advantage.
  • This role requires someone who can think on their feet and has the ability to adapt to changes with a positive attitude.  Collaboration plays a key part of this role so you must be a team player who can communicate effectively and willing to drive a positive work environment with other colleagues.
  • A curious mindset and keen learner. This role also requires someone who has the ability to handle data accurately and confidentially as well as follow processes diligently and timely.
