Team leader
Michaela Stessl is our Country Managing Partner in Slovakia. Michaela has a strong reputation in corporate and M&A, as well as in-depth experience in the practice areas of finance, banking and real estate, notably advising on cross-border transactions with Slovak elements.

In 2018 DLA Piper was awarded Law Firm of the Year – Overall, and Law Firm of the Year – Fund Formation at the Property Investor Europe (PIE) awards. The PIE European Property Investor Awards recognise and honour outstanding performance in European commercial real estate.

In 2017, and for the tenth consecutive year, we earned a perfect score from the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national survey and report from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (HRCF). DLA Piper was again recognised as a Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality.
