The role

THE OPPORTUNITY

Learning and Development Assistant will be accountable for the administration of learning, data management, information and systems to help international L&D team and GSC Poland to contribute towards the firm's global vision by enabling our people to acquire the skills and capabilities to be successful. This position gives the opportunity to lead projects related to L&D area and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Successful candidates will also play important role to the change that the HR is going through, involving implementation of HR model, technology and projects that will enable efficient service and significant contribution towards company's Talent Development strategy.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize course events: distribute invitations, monitor participation, ensure post-training evaluations, respond to customer inquiries
  • Create the learning plans in Learning Management System 
  • Manage the administration involved in allocating learning plans to each employee 
  • Maintain the GSC course events in DLA Piper Academy
  • Support the implementation of yearly GSC learning strategy 
  • Create GSC learning achievements summary and learning catalogue
  • Coordinate the GSC learning calendar across the organisation and its streams
  • Request and analyse training offers from external vendors 
  • Maintain training documentation and training databases
  • Promote DLA Piper Academy among GSC employees to ensure the best use of internal learning resources
  • Organise and administer language classes in GSC 
  • Track sponsorship trainings, invoicing and accounting
  • Maintain learning budget 
  • Review continuously and update learning policies and procedures
  • Support and co-create training programs in the organization in line with GSC needs and collect learning needs
  • Ongoing contact with selected training providers and trainers
  • Seeking and proposing learning process improvements
  • Share and apply best practices
  • Ensure that all relevant company's standards and guidelines are met

ABOUT YOU

  • University degree
  • Able to speak and write in English language fluently 
  • Able to identify and implement improvements 
  • Able to handle complex cases, multiple priorities, working  to sometimes conflicting timescales in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Able to build trust and develop effective relationships with others
  • Collaborate across boundaries effectivey and inclusively
  • Demonstartes professional courage
  • Identifies with the company, it’s values, understands bigger picture, commercial context 
  • Understands digital environment and how to apply technology in people context
  • Able to drive and enable change to create value
  • Demonstrates curiosity making most of opportunities to learn and improve 
  • Experience working in L&D area will be an asset
  • Experience in working with Learning Management System will be an asset
