The role

THE OPPORTUNITY

Master Data team in GSC is supporting multiple business units and locations, working with all finance GSC Teams, responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements and Customer expectations, improving operational effectiveness and efficiency of the team’s performance, resolving problems and developing the team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (this will be in an Appendix to contract – scope of duties)

IMPORTANT: Currently we work in Elite Enterprise but we will be introducing SAP in our company in a short period of time.

Specific duties will include:

  • Constant learning of the processes on the basis of the most up-to-date manuals/daily processing of the requests under the guidance of Master Data Analyst
  • Supporting the process of Supplier creations/updates:
  1. Creation of the suppliers
  2. Updating the suppliers based on the invoices
  3. Contacting the suppliers via email and via phone to confirm the bank details
  • Updating the data in our financial system according to policy of our company 
  • Perform all activities in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
  • Seek opportunities for process improvements and applying improvements
  • Handle with customer’s requests and queries
  • Communicate with internal and external customers in an efficient and effective manner
  • Ensure that all relevant company’s standards and guidelines are met
  • Assisting with other daily tasks assigned by the Team Leader

ABOUT YOU

  • Very good English skills required, other languages will be a strong asset
  • Experience in finance, preferable in the Master Data area in the shared service or BPO environment as a strong asset, but not required
  • University degree (preferable in accounting) or students/graduates able to work full time
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with customers (customer focus, expectations management skills)
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills: team work, patience, working well in fast-paced and changing environment, can-do attitude, diplomacy, discretion
  • Ability to work in international diversified professional environment
  • Willingness to learn new systems and tools supporting the daily work
  • Familiarity with MS Office
